The Polurrian Cove Beach House Trust is a Charity set up with the sole aim to restore the Polurrian Cove beach building for the community, working closely with Mullion Surf Lifesaving Club, Polurrian Hotel and the Friends of Polurrian Beach.
Our fundraising efforts have kicked off with a CrowdFunder. We appreciate your support – also see more on our Facebook
Formed by a group of locals and neighbouring landowners; our aim is to restore the building to (better than) its former glory, which will include works to the sea wall, improvements to the foundations, reconfigured internal layout, RNLI watch room, storage for the Mullion SLSC, shower and toilet facilities including a disabled toilet and access – so that all users of Polurrian Cove beach can do so in a safe and enjoyable manner.
The charity bought the building from Cornwall Council and are now seeking funding to guarantee the future of this vital community facility.
We are excited to have chosen the winning tender and work has started in December 2024!
We are collecting together a questions and answers page – but if you do have a query please click here and submit your question or feedback.
The pictures at he bottom of this page were taken in August 2024 showing the damage to the building following the storms in 2012.
